Learn More About What We Do
Coastal Herb Co. acquires distressed cannabis retail assets and turns them into functioning, profitable businesses. Our focus is on licensed dispensaries, particularly those struggling operationally, under-leveraged in their markets, or in need of a strategic exit.
This is how we grow our portfolio and create value.
how we acquire
We target retail assets that fall into categories like
Fully licensed dispensaries seeking exit, capital, or turnaround support
Overcapitalized businesses that raised significant funds but failed to meet performance targets
License-only deals with zoning, resolution, or near-ready real estate
Operational stores with declining sales, compliance issues, or broken cost structures
Deal structures are flexible and clean
Full equity takeovers with clear operating transitions
Revenue-based payouts tied to performance
MSAs with aligned operators, when appropriate
Real estate and licensing are handled in parallel to reduce friction
Execution in Motion
We specialize in turning overbuilt, underperforming businesses into right-sized, profitable stores
Our current activity includes
Negotiated buyouts from founders who over-raised and under-delivered
Strategic pivots for assets that lost momentum or fell behind construction timelines
Embedded brand rollouts timed with acquisition close to reduce downtime
Realignment of cost structure and product strategy for immediate margin improvements

Atlantic City, NJ Manufacturing & Processing (Pre-Construction)
A separate resolution was secured for manufacturing and processing within the same building, located on the third floor.

Strategically aligned with cultivation site to support vertical integration and margin control.
Haddon Township, NJ Retail Dispensary (Pre-Construction)
